If you have a fear of heights, this one might not be for you!
The Kuala Lumpur Tower is iconic in the Malaysian capital’s skyline and, at 420 metres high, the tower is currently the 7th tallest in the world.Given its height above the city, the KL Tower offers incredible 360-degree views of Kuala Lumpur from both of its two observation decks.
At 276 metres above ground is the enclosed observation deck with floor to ceiling glass, costing RM 52 (approx. AUD 16 or USD 13) for an adult entry ticket. Located even higher is the open air deck, offering a view you wouldn’t want to miss. Entry to the open air deck will set you back RM 105 (approx. AUD 33 or USD 25) and includes access to the lower observation deck.
Located 300 metres above the ground, the open air deck gives you a whole new perspective of the city below – and I’m not just talking about the view from behind the concrete barrier.
Extending out from the open deck is the KL Tower Sky Box, a viewing platform with its floor and walls made entirely from transparent glass. The Sky Box offers those brave enough to walk into it an aerial view of the city below and unblocked views across Kuala Lumpur.
The KL Tower is open all year round and visitors are welcome between the hours of 9 am to 10 pm. Tickets can be bought online or at the tower’s reception when you arrive.

Hi! The price for the open deck which is RM105, does it include skybox or not? Thank you 🙂
Hi there, Gem! As far as I’m aware the RM105 ticket price still includes access to the SkyBox. 🙂
Thanks Haylee 😊
